Katherine Feeney, Principal

Katherine Feeney has more than 10 years of experience across a range of industries and capabilities, with specific expertise in conducting commercial due diligence and evaluating investments. Over the course of her career, Katherine has conducted buy-side diligence on more than 100 deals. In her capacity as an independent consultant, she has worked with private equity funds ranging from $50M to $50B AUM, as well as corporate acquirers and sovereign wealth funds.

Concurrent to founding Beckett Square, Katherine was instrumental in the launch of a lower-middle-market SaaS-focused fund, where she stood up fund operations and led the fund’s first two investments. Katherine was previously with Bain & Company; she has extensive experience in Bain’s private equity group as both a Consultant and Manager.

Katherine has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. Katherine is the board chair of District Alliance for Safe Housing (DASH), which provides access to housing and services for survivors of domestic violence and their families. She is an avid traveler (53 countries and counting), dedicated aunt (6 nieces and nephews and counting), and yoga student and teacher. She is currently location-independent.

Katherine is supported on an as-needed basis by a robust network of qualified analysts, many of whom have worked with or for Katherine in her previous roles.

Why the name?

Beckett Square is a reference to Irish playwright Samuel Beckett and to Dublin’s Merrion Square, once home to both W.B. Yeats and Oscar Wilde. Besides, KatherineFeeney.com was already taken.
